more tops

My good friend Momo lent me a selection of her Japanese craft books while she is away visiting friends and family in Japan. Very generous!
I am halfway through making one top but in the meantime I have made another top from this book.

Pedro held the pattern down while I traced : )
This is my favorite top yet. The fabric is a cotton linen from Japan. It's a little coarse but in a good natural sort of way.

Ooo you clever little thing. I love the top, both the pattern and the fabric. Of course, you couln't have achieved the final result without Pedro's help.

Aren't cats so helpful when it comes to cutting out patterns and wrapping presents! The top is very cute. I adore your creations.

It's lovely! Will it soften up when you wash it? Will look so cute over a turtleneck.

That top is so cute. You are lucky to have such a helpful cat too.

Oh, I just love this top. I am looking to make something similar. I am also a Japanese Craft Book addict. If only I could read Japanese.
